For a week only you can go to Pitchfork to view Heima, the gorgeous documentary that follows Icelandic band Sigur Rós home (or Heima) on a tour of their country after years of playing for audiences all over the world. I went to the US premier for the film here in NY at a very small venue where I was lucky enough to hear them play a live acoustic set beforehand. That stands out as the most beautiful sounding listening experience I have ever had.

Part 3 of the film, “Four as One” (seen below), is reminiscent of that set starting at 1:55 or so. Of course, seeing and hearing the video will never compare to what I remember hearing, but this isn’t too shabby.
